Default I'm just dreaming, but

What would it cost to make "Spirit of Apache" a twin engine boat, glass the back and put in power to make it run well? I can't believe the cost of that boat in the classified, it seems like a great deal. The paint and trailer must be $75,000 or more.

Buy this quad engine NT: http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...op-o63000.html

Pull those 4 1075's and re-power the Apache and have a spare motor. Re-glass the Nortech and put a pair of new Merc 1650's in it.

In reference to owning 47 Apache......I had a multi-Apache owner (including a 47) tell me he has seen 47 Apaches turn rich men into poor men!

LOL, I just think this boat is timeless, but I understand what you're saying.

new triple 700's would be another idea but that boat probably wouldn't do 80 with just 2100 HP!

I have seen the boat in person and it is a showstopper! In a busy poker run marina full of Cigs/OL's/NT's the Apache was the one getting all the looks!

It still is mine, that boat is amazing. Hate to say it but in some ways I like the original paint job better

Wonder how it would run with a trio of 1350's

Look up Steve Lopez he did the triple to twin swap on the old quick tempered 47 Apache and it came out awesome.
