Skater was touting a new metal coating/treating process they developed. I don't remember the details though, but all of the hardware on the new Pure Platinum boat has it. It's sharp.

Also, whatever Apache it was that they spend a gozillion dollars on a few years back had top to bottom black rigging, flat/satin black.

I'm a fan of the look. The only thing that pisses me off if my windows are too shiny on this:

Sh*t... A/C has been off in my office all week. I'm off my game.

Just replace everything with aluminum THEN hard anodize it....

All hard anodized flat black. All the steel parts are on the motors are flat black also. Powder coat or paint with flat clear.

Looks nice, going to Orange Beach tomorrow to meet with a plating company to see what they can do for me
