Default My first repair. Successful!!!!!

Made my first repair. I couldn't get forward or reverse. I panicked! Thinking the worst happened. Turned out I broke the shift cable. Idk how I did it. Newb shifting??? Took about 4 hours and $200 but it's good as new.
Thank you to all who post advice and help. I really appreciate it.

Agreed. I look forward to learning. I'm very excited and enjoy the boat. I apologize if I post too much. I have tons of questions.

Does driving around with the exhaust set to quiet do any harm to the boat?
