Got that.
My confusion here is where the fock are all the running shots from when only a handful actually did the run due to conditions. If most went back to the dock, where are these shots from?

to get to lake Michigan, one must first pass thru Lake Charlevoix, between boat wakes and the wind it got bumpy there, I still shot as many boats as possible!

Pretty sure Pete shot these as some folks went out into Lake Michigan & gave it a go 4 a little bit & realized/made a choice 4 safety, equipment, etc 2 turn around & not get beat 2 hell!!! When nearly a 100 boats or so turn around & take a pass, it sez something!!! The great thing is everybody was safe & that sez a lot about our participants!!! I know most of the people/boats that went on & I'm sure they did it w/ the utmost in safety for their crews & rides!!! Rock On!!!

Charlevoix and some on Lake Michigan. Lots of people turned around but not everyone turned around right away. Kemosabe ventured out a ways but thought they were the sole boat (so the story goes that I heard) and came back in as they were one of the last boats to go out. I know they aren't afraid to run that bad lad, so I'm not questioning the story, who wants to run 60 miles alone. A bunch of us were up in the front and we kept on keeping on so we disappeared in the water, so it probably looked as if no one was running and they just followed suit.
