I have a question.
The boat sits in the water all the time or just the weekend?
Do you have shore power with a charger so that the bilge pumps don't kill the battery and it sinks at the dock?

Just a thought. Forget about those float switch type bilge pumps and get an auto sensing pump. . . . . Something in the fifteen hundred gph range
seriously though, those float switches are worthless go auto

Does this mean that if I get too much shart here i'll have to make a move over to here ?

Now find a site that pays you to put your clothes back ON, then you're onto something.

so what happens when the bilge pump gets plugged up with rotted wood particles and debris then blows the fuse or burns up the pump itself ???
Probably a 21 year old bilge pump(s) at that to.

So you have a boat that probably has rot and mechanical issues(at least bellows), is taking on water and has an inoperative bilge pump and you can't take it out of the water. It's insured. You prevented it from sinking?
