Default Sonic 358 ??

Fellow Sonic owners and power boat owners with factory A/C units in your boats. Do I have to close the pitcock valve for fresh water entering the the A/C system? I might use the A/C twice a year, so should this valve be open/closed or does matter? My boat is in salt water all the time.

Thanks

Mike P.

We used to have the same boat although all systems are similar but we would keep the petcock closed until we were ready to use it. I have never operated any of our boats in salt but I would think if your only using it twice a year I would want to back flush the system with fresh water when not in use.
