What software or program do you guys use for paint renderings trying to design something my self and put my painting skills to the test

Adobe illustrator and Corel. I like corel but 99% of the rest of the world uses AI, I started using it in the late 90's and it just stuck with me.

Thanks glass Dave I'm working on redoing a cougar cub just found out tonight part of the transom was rotten so now I have to figure out how to cut that out and replace it i ways knew I would use my marine composites degree for something haha

If you get into Corel let me know I can whip out templates in minutes, can walk ya through the basic key strokes to get ya started.
