Default Any recommendations on where to get a hatch activator?

My activator is sounding like it has seen better days and it actually jammed up but then unjammed itself. It would stink to have this fail in a closed position. I want to make a preemptive move and replace this before it goes bad. I found this place that manufactures, anyone have an opinion or some other options to consider? I suspect feedback might be that these are not designated for marine use, however, there is a rubber boot that can be put over the motor to help keep elements out....and for the price of one sold by a marine retailer, i could buy 3, 4, maybe even 5 of these if need be (from the place in the link).

Thanks!

You have an Active Thunder and a Activator - well at least you are picking good boats, with that said can you get into a brand new Laveycraft ? You might as well make it 3 great boats.

Had to mess with you just kidding, Hatch Actuator

Lenco and api marine make them, Just for reference, I am also a API marine dealer.

I just replaced the one in my Fountain, be sure you get one that is sealed / spark protected, whatever the chit they call it so the boat don't go BOOM.

I just went direct to the manufacturer and they directed me to a local shop that sold their product, then used a local machine shop to modify the ram end to match what Fountain had done. Not cheap, around 700 by the time I got done. I got lucky mine fell apart in my hands getting out of the boat.

If this helps you and I can even give you a bit more off this price. API Marine will not sell you this any cheaper. They protect their dealers.

The also have the 18 inch one.
