Buying a boat with Canadian registration ???
There is a outerlimits for sale in havasu, I'm am told the owner holds the title, but it's registered in Canada, what issues will I run into if a guy from Cali wants to buy it?

There is no problem if its been properly imported to the U.S. You'll see on yacht listings "not for sale in US waters to US residents". If the boat hasn't been properly imported, they can't legally sell it in the U.S.. Without the import documentation from US Customs it can't be registered in the USA. There is EPA documents that need to be done, etc. at US customs before the boat is able to stay permanent in the US. You need proof of this too coast guard document or register it in a state. If its not imported the sale must done outside of the U.S. and you need to import it as the buyer.
