Default I'm Sorry

I'm sorry I started a tread in anger with what's going on with my life right now. I shouldn't have taken it out on. OSO. I'm just trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I lost everything an should keep it to my self. I'm living in a t building on a air mattress an bathing under a hose on my porch. That my problem an I should not get upset with the world. I hope my boating family can forget this. I'm truly sorry. Artie

i have been there and can relate. Tropical storm Allison in 2001 flooded my house, my truck, put 4+ feet of raging water through my business and as if that wasn't enough it turned over a barrel of waste oil in the warehouse which covered everything including the inside of my jetboat. The water floated and flipped over the cabinet that the main record server was sitting on.

All you can do is attack what ever job you can afford to and get it done. I didn't have flood insurance as the area had never flooded before. Since then I have moved my home and business to elevated lots. House by 2004 and business by 2008.

My wife was 4 months pregnant when I had to wake her and tell her the house was flooding. Vowed I would never let myself be so vulnerable again.

It took a long time to recover, help from my friends during the initial cleanup was critical to my sanity.

Apparently this wasn't the first time you've thrown your toys out of the cot in a bad mood so that makes it strike two! That means you're not out.

I know almost nothing about your situation but I do know that humans have mountains of inner strength and combined with the ability for logical thought and reason, can overcome obstacles better than any of God's creatures.

Gather your thoughts, stay positive, friends will be true to you and things will get better.

Jon.

Artie dont give it a second thought, sometimes sh!t just piles up . . . things happen. Also no need to keep it to yourself if there's one thing i know its that this community will help out when it can. Even if its just moral support, its a start.

Hang in there, I can't imagine what you're going through but hopefully it all passes and you get back on your feet...won't be easy but feel free to dump a load here if it'll help.
