Agree. All I've ever done is drape it over the upper deck at the lake and hose the crap out of it. Let it dry, back on the boat.

What causes the cover to leave black streaks down the side of the boat? I've laid it out on a clean driveway and scrubbed it on both sides with a brush and detergent and hosed it off thoroughly, but every time it rains I get black streaks down the side of the boat. It also discolored the top of the seats ajar it contacts them. I have no idea what it's made out of. It's sort of smooth yet dull, not really a cloth material. It's really waterproof but it's also really pissing me off.
