Has anyone else heard about a possible Mercury Verado 450 release at the Fort Lauderdale show?

Knowing how Mercury is with marketing I would bet they leak it out in 25hp increments
But from a merc / tec friend who went out there for trainings/ education a year ago....I know for fact that that engine was designed to be 500hp they told them that eventually it will be
So eventually I think so
But with them it's all about sales & recouping the development costs.

Just my take on it

Honestly they had the 350 Verado for like 6 years before the 400 came out. I don't see more hp comming for a few more years. The lower is the weak link at this point
