Muskrats will chew and eat rubber stuff too..
Neighbors have had water intake hoses and bellows chewed up.
Keep an eye out for that type of damage if they get at the boat in the boathouse.

They entered by buddies 56' carver through the exhaust, ate their way through a flex hose, and ran wild in the engine room. Caused 200k in damage.

You should see what beaver can do to a boathouse, rubber hoses and anything else that can be eaten. Then there is the poop! Muskrat times 10! Shotgun or AR15 work well.
