Thumbs up NO SLAM----almost first post?

I'm a new member, purchased first offshore boat a couple of weeks ago, brokerage boat, from Shipyard Marine in Green Bay WI. I picked the boat up on a saturday morning to run back to Chicago where I live. At 3 pm, outside of Port Washington I have engine trouble. As I idle into the harbor on the good engine I call Andy (owner) of Shipyard Marine. He says someone will be down with tools and a trailer (37' boat). Andy himself arrives and proceeds to work on and fix the engine (after driving around for parts). While talking to him I find out his wife is on her way to pick him up as they are on their to a wedding. I should point out that Green Bay and Chicago are not that close and the chances of me being a repeat customer are slim. I have to say that I am a very satisfied customer and would like to recommend Shipyard Marine. I am going to have some work done there this winter. Straight talk, honesty and hard work go a long way in making me a loyal customer.

One of the best posts I've seen here in awhile. Great to hear.

Although there is one thread that is getting pretty good as we speak.

I'm not clear. Were they on the way to their wedding, or someone elses?

Congrats on the boat, and welsome to OSO! (Buck......which thread are you talkin about?)

Welcome. Now you can hit all the COPS runs with the guys on your side of the lake! Maybe we'll see you at the air show next summer.

By the way, I sent you a private message yesterday

Sounds like you bought your boat at a great place.
