I spent a lot of time on the water this season mostly due to the center console I bought :party-smiley-004:
I will get home in the afternoon, dunk that thing in the water and go ride for +/- 30 miles, turn around put in on the trailer. It's just so easy to take it home give it a quick rinse and back it into the garage. |
Cigarette 38 Top Gun - not even 20 hours over the last 2 seasons. We put 25-30 hours per year on the 36 Envision. Two kids, 1 & 2 years old, slows our boating down.

This is a Great Post. Sometimes its sad how we work too hard and don't take our Boats or other toys out for a fun run. I have only been out twice this season. Family and Business is first priority's. Hate being a grown up, Sorta grown up. All have fun the rest of the season.

I know what you mean. My wife's plans are always like a parachute on my speed boat of fun!

Only 2 hours on the Skater since we took delivery in LOTO in August. Only put 14 hours on the AT in 15 months before I sold it. |
My 1st boat back in the 80's was an '84 Chris Craft 230 Scorpion Stinger. I was only in my twenties and lots of time to kill with my boating pals so I put 200 hours on the boat my 1st year... Then life got a little more complicated with age and my last two boats, an '89 Formula 311 and an '03 Formula 353, I only averaged about 50 hours per summer. So many great memories on all three boats!:boat:
I'm currently boatless and whoring hours on any friend's boats that I can... :party-smiley-048: |
before kids i'd average 50-70 hrs a season easily, sometimes more. Now having 8 and a 5 year old daughters its tough to get out as much. I am averaging about 30-40 hrs a season now. Not bad for all the other activities I have on my plate at the moment........

We live on a small (200) acre lake and boat several times a week with the roll bar boat, even if it's nothing more than an evening ride around the lake with a beer or glass of wine.
We try to get to the river weekly with the 24. Tuesdays are beautiful; the river isn't crowded, no ramp traffic, and usually it's just us and a couple other boats at the sand bar. Lately we've been trying to use the new (to us) 43 as much as we can before summer goes away and unfortunately we're about to that point. I'll add up the hours when we winterize everything, but well over 100 hours running time & I have no idea all the "float& relax" time. It was a beautiful summer here in MI..hate to see it end for the season. https://scontent.fsnc1-2.fna.fbcdn.n...a3&oe=58A25062 |
