The 36 has 120hrs on motors and drives. Not sure of the hours on the hull. Precision Marine built the 540's. I'm not familiar with the shop. The 33 has 292 original hours and 60hrs on the valves and springs.

mtb, if this is the 36 you are looking at....
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/b...irth-baja.html read up. I noticed quite a few similarities in your description to this boat. imo, without knowing anything about the 33 you are looking at...i'd vote for the 36. IF the 36 you are looking at is the one this thread is about. |

If its Docks old boat, thats a fine Baja specimen... He poured a chitload of money into it and it was done right. That was a badass boat when the blowers were on it! He spent some money to get her over 90. I have all his old props. :)

Don't have dyno sheets but I think he has them. The motors are 600hp each. Both boats are in pristine condition. No the $15k is what the difference is in price between the 36 and 33. Just wondering if it's worth spending the extra $15k on the 36.
Precision Marine is top notch. |
Yes, the 36 I'm talking about is the Doc Holiday boat.

What happened to doc?
He was a wealth of Baja info on the boards for a long time. his 36 is bad azz. I don't think you can go wrong with a 33 or 36. 33 is on my short list once I figure out what I really want. ;) |

I'm curious and I'm going to have to ask if these motors have been redone since they were supercharged. Because right now it's being sold is naturally aspirated. Seller never mentioned that it was supercharged.

If Mark in Kenner, LA ( Precision Marine ) built them, Id call and ask him, if built as blower motors they will be lower compression then if they were built as NA
Found this in the link that was posted. Mark Boos – Precision Marine - http://www.pmefi.com/ I just refer to Mark as the legend! He is a cool guy that loves what he does and does it GREAT. I could not have asked for anyone better to build my engines. He is extremely nice to work with, runs a very professional shop and does incredable work.
