I removed bottom paint off of my cousin's 28' Pacemaker in 1982,we did not have a pressure washer, so we scraped, sanded applied acetone then more scraping and sanding, I hated it, but for the twelve pack of Old Milwaukee I consumed while doing it with the help of my cousin I would have quit and walked off of the job. I did a 13' Boston Whaler many years later which wasn't so bad due to the fact is had 50% less surface area to contend with. Removing bottom paint sucks, go with the advice of the previous posters, with hire someone to do it, or get the best sandblaster or pressure washer available.

There is alot of good advice in this thread, my $.02 opinion only illustrates that sucks doing it!

Pesos or 10 bucks in english lol

I want a lil screamer for myself bro. Im going to buy a pr of big 4t engines which will leave me holding a pr of 25" fresh rude 300s with bobs nose cones w low water pick ups. One for my boat the second for the second boat out of the mold.

I live free on one of my partners farms 500 acres huge house i could build a 24' boat i the living room lol
but id extend the garage or build an out bldg.

My labor cost would be so cheap its insane. I have a sharp young guy that does amazing gelcoat work and lays glass. He knows where to buy all the material. Im two hours from the shipping port in cartagena

I just need a good mold and someone to show the team i put together how to layup a boat.
Build the boat and interior here maybe the trailers too. Ship em to miami rig em there and sell then for much less than anything made up there. They couldnt compete due to my inexpensive labor and zero overhead shop. No workmans comp no osha no epa none of that government sticking their hand in your pocket and jacking you off crap

How can you go wrong with a 24/7?THat hull has been shrunk to a 22 and stretched to a 28 and they all work great
