up for bid is a newly rebuilt gen -6 454 big block that has been engendered to be a direct replacement to a 502 mpi Mercruiser . Cam and cyl heads have been tailored to work perfectly with a stock computer and feul system . They make identical tourque and hp . To the standard 502 we sell this in long block form , upon sale we will need your complete upper and lower intake assy . ECM , harness , feul rail and complete feul system . We will install all those parts and dyno test the motor to be sure everything is functioning properly . This is a much less expensive alterintive to a new 502 long block, we sell these in several different combos, and they are very reliable good rung motors . The best motor builder we knew when we were kids was an old black guy that didn't know how to read or write. Most of the folks I know today couldn't figure out how to get on this forum if they tried.

Let me guess....Give us your old worthless 502 core and we'll give you a nice new 454 making the same torque and HP !
I always thought, there is no replacement for displacement...is it possible for a stock 454 to make the same torque as a stock 502?
