Default Pro-tip for DIY winterizing:

I took the typical 5-gallon jug, and added a motorcycle valve stem (schrader valve) to it. Seal it with rubber cement or similar.

Note:
I didn't have thermostats, so I didn't have to worry about warming the engines on a hose, and then cutting over to antifreeze.

I use a small 12V compressor to pressurize the jug, then open the valve, then start the motor.
This instantly pushes the antifreeze directly toward the sea water pump, and is much less likely to burn up an impeller hoping for prime suction and/or gravity feed to work.

Also, remove the hose fitting from the end of the hose, and you can hook this directly into the water feed for your Air Conditioner, Generator, and/or Head/Toilet. This makes winterizing those accessories easy as well. Use a step up or down adapter host barb adapter if needed.

Bonus tip:
Add one of these valve stems without the core in it, to the top of your gas cans that do not have vents anymore (thank you EPA).
Add it to the back, above the rear handle on the "45 degree" point.
Then you can pour gasoline without waiting for it to belch, burp, and spew gas all over.

Someone on FB posted these vent lids which are still available:

I do something very similar to fill outdrives.....fill it with oil...hook it up to the drive...hook up the air hose and it forces the oil into the drive nice and fast

Yep, the garden sprayer modification for drive oil changes is another solid DIY tool, too.
