Duval was busier on Friday night than I have seen in years. Even after the boats were pulled away it was crazy busy.
Our OSO party on Thursday night was well over 800 people and probably way more than that were in the street out front.

Duval was as packed as I've ever seen it.
The 'spread out through town' theory is my feeling, too.
In addition to the poker runners, there is a not-insignificant number of peeps who come down on their own.
