how much is a mid 80s 39' express cat (12' beam) with asd1600 drives and fresh 0 hour 1000hp 600cid blower moters worth assuming its in good condition with updated dash interior and no graphics (plain white imron) with a dual wheel tandem trailer?

Is this nick's boat with the one counter rotating drive if it is I know the boat . I know nick said he was doing alot of updating to it last time we had talked I new that boat personaly when it was in michigan it used to have ssm#4 on it then mark put on the arenson drives nice pleasure boat , Anwers 80 to 100k.

nope not nick's boat. i don't even know who nick is? 80 to 100k is a nice figure. Is it sellable? I fi buy this thing if i want to get our frmo under it next year will i be able to move it? Or am i going to be sitting on something that is hard to sell (regaurdless of price)? FYI I can pick it up for less than 80k.

1987 needs an interior and a total rerigging. All eth parts are "with" the boat just not "on" the boat. Its basically a kit. Allparts are there nothing is assembled. I was planning on doing the updating.....

I am just tryign to get an idea of how much its worth so i can bargain on it. I know how much work it needs ($$$$) but i want to figure out how much i can pay for it and not loose my shirt.

i kind of wanted project boat :D But how much are you talking for the Couger with 1000hp engines? What kind of setup does it have? Cabin? Ex race boat? WHat kind of canopies? Full? 1/4? Pod? Does it have a trailer?

HI Puder , Chances are it will need new fuel tanks . Mine did . WHat a pain ! Everyone wanted $10k to do the tanks . I paid $2k for the tanks (and got screwed !! DON'T USE ATLANTIC COASTAL WELDING IN NJ !!! THEY CHEAT STEAL AND LIE !!!!) and did the work myself . That job SUCKS !! The boat itself I love and everyone that has one seams to like them . Extremely tight in the engine room !! Does it have anywater damage ? Look closely . Check under everything for dark or soft fiberblass . Can't realy help to tell you if you can sell it or not . Not sure how desirable it is . I'm sure if it was in the right place it would go with that power being fresh . As long as the boat looks the part . (GAuges, steats cabin etc) . Good luck . Thats alot of boat !! You got somewhere to work under cover ? You don't want anymore water getting to it then what already may have . Let me know if I can help . JOE

Visious , I bought PAul Smiths boat from Wolverine Bronze. It was sitting at Miller marine for a while . IT had some issues but they are getting worked out .

FYI i'm all paranoid about saying too much about the boat (in case you'all hadn't noticed) I had project boat stolen from under me two years ago and if i go for this one it NOT going to happen again. If i do wind up passing on it i will gladly divulge all info to all interested persons.

seasn got yoru messga ebeen workign liek mad all day trying to get ready for meeting and then my client cancelled on me.

i might be interested in the snake but i'm not paying much for it. It got another season of use and god knows how manyhours of how they were put on. It kind of scares me when someone butya boat runs ita season and flips it right away. Maybe they sold it so quick cus they kicked the snot out of it....

Jake's new owner usually runs stuff for a season and then sells it...it just the way he is...

the boat which I think would interest you more is Ocean Commotion...it is a 38 Competition Scorpion. I forget what the interior is like...I know it has a 3 man bolster and a back seat...the motors are 502s and its got #3s and no trailer...you may be able to get it without the motors...35K It's gonna need paint and interior work, but it is a proven wave crusher! Lemme know if yer interested...

i think i woudl go very minimal on ethgaphis mayeb some simple tribal stuff (I would design it) if you out this way perhaps you'd be interested in doing some paint work.

yep, you can't have too many projects. If i get a few days off from working I coudl get her back together. I have all the parts i just need 5 days to put her back together.

cool but not exactly what i'm looking for. I would like to seat more than 2 people (my boat repair skills are not exaclty up to a full pleasure conmversion for a race boat). And a small cabin is nice too.
