The putty-like material has dried and hardened. Milling has begun. This round of milling will cut the putty surface and get the mold closer to the CAD model specs.

DougWright continues with the milling of the 35RT. This time he's doing one of the sponsons. Again, he's milling the mold directly bypassing the plug creation.
I know the video is not clear but you can begin to see the steps of the hull being cut into the foam.
There are markers on the three-piece mold to be sure that the alignment is precise.

What's the latest ???

The boat is done and will be unveiled at the LOTO shootout. It looks incredible from what I have been told. Can't wait to run it nine days and counting...
