Default How much in gas have you spent in a weekend?

I was reading the octane boost post and it got me thinking. What's the most you have spent in fuel in one weekend. My race boat at a race for 50 miles only burns 30 gallons at $3 per gallon is under $100. But my 32' cruiser on a weekend I can burn $400 no problem. Worth every penny IMO. Im interested in hearing what others spend in a good weekend.

several years back when premium was $5.39 a gallon i put a thousand in the Donzi and went to the Erie islands for the weekend with an extended run to Vermillion thirty miles further south. She was pretty much on E when i got back to Toledo on Monday. Funny part is if the heating bill at my house or shop is over two hundred i about freak, A grand in fuel (an I'm certainly not made of money) does not phase me to much lol

I don NEED three square meals a day . . . . I dont NEED a reliable car . . . . I dont NEED health insurance . . . I dont NEED a roof over my head . . . . but i NEED to go boating lol

Current boat.....little to nothing. 20-30 gallons at most. Previous boat....over 400 gallons of 93 octane over a 3 day weekend.

One weekend long ago I went through 300 plus gallons in Twin 175 HP C.C.
The first 150 gallons was contaminated fuel that was pumped out. The rest was 150 gallons on new good fuel. That whole episode still burns my butt. I paid more per gallon to dispose the contaminated fuel than good fuel.

We fish our boat, so 400-600 gallons for the whole weekend is not hard to do plus 10-14 gal of 2 stroke oil
