Simple solution is to rent a condo exactly 108 miles away. She won't be able to get to you.

Do you have to wear a mask if you ride with her? I would go out Monday and buy a Porsche just to try to counter the effect, that way you can have a sticker on the back that says "MY OTHER CAR IS A LEAF".

I think the car was a write off before she bought it.
