That has been out for years, it is called shadow controls. First time I saw it was on a 3 or 4 engine Fountain Center Console.

From Mercury's site:

150 hp extra I would think about 5 to 7 mph

Did they ever build more than 2 of these? I think Matt did a story on a all white 41 OB that was going to be a yacht tender.

Seems like a great package, not sure I'd spend 100K extra for the 450s

I’m guessing the speed increases may not be there compared to all of the 400Rs already turned up to 455hp. Hence we’ve yet to see a twin cat putting up big number with 450s. I’m sure it will come, but will take some work.

Yes it does!!!

I have the Pleasure of seeing this beautiful boat every weekend blast by my cottage. The sound of the triple 400s is unique for sure....
