I've never, ever had a problem with the sea dek I've done on multiple boats. On my cobalt I did sea grass or whatever it's called and loved that too, and the price savings. On your boat personally I would do sea grass on the interior and sea dek on the platform. If I did sea dek on the whole thing I would do stick on only because I've never seen the snap in first hand and that is too much money to risk the appearance having not seen it.

That looks good but I do not want to put holes in my floor. Is there a way just to lay it in? My carpet just lays in, its a stock fountain carpet with a heavy backing and doesn't even come close to moving. I would prefer that.

all factory snaps were used. Took the carpet out and put the marine mat in.

I am in TEXAS ----- Dallas area and dealer for a handful of brands. Snap in installs and the prep then peel - press down to fit installs as well.
I can also sell one the brand if they give me the lay out and do the install yourself. That is a cheaper option for the boat owner as well
Its the boat owner call for which style of the install application. Personally I like the snap down. I just did a sea ray and it came out super nice as we threw out the ugly berber dirty out dated carpet.
The current standard is new boat builds no one is doing carpet anymore. Just saying
