Will, the AR-15 is not banned. But the manufacture of the orginal design was. You can still buy the original but they run around 1500-2000 bucks. I should have bought one when they were still 650.

Gary, the report that I saw didn't have anything but "Assualt Rifles". The gentleman talking was saying how fast and deadly the .223 is. But in reality its at the bottom end of the centerfire cartridges in relation to power. It gives up its engergy quickly because of its light weight. What pisses me off the most is the Media's deafness to real facts. They just shut off what doesn't fit into the agenda they have. Sure they tell you facts but leave out the important facts that would temper that fact into reality and not hyestaria. Set a .223 next to a .375 H&H Mag and it really doesnt look so scary. But still deadly.
