My problem is the width of the container for transport in the EU

You may already know this but container shipping (which is easily the cheapest) might be possible. A 40' Hi-cube container is long enough but the door opening of the container is 2.34m wide x 2.58m high (7'5.75" x 8'5.75").

Boats can be loaded sideways into a container (with good packaging) so a beam of 8'6" is right around the limit. I think that extra quarter of an inch can squeeze through the door. You'd have to drain fluids and I think batteries need to come out but it is still easily the most efficient way to ship.

I can suggest a U.S. company that ships to Europe and can do everything for you.

Height and width need to be measured accurately so there's no problems when the boat arrives at the packing centre.

width is just right
but the height of the ship could be a problem
I think the boat is higher than 2340mm

If you want to go to Thailand from from your East Coast a 34' Fountain on trailer will cost about 23k roll-on roll-off. A 41' Sea Ray on a cradle is about 33k lift-on lift-off. If its something that fits in a container it's a very reasonable 4K.

Thailand is pretty much the half way point round the world, Europe is only a quarter of the way. :)
