whats up with the title

css19 01-28-2017 10:07 AM

somehow the price is low
and down in the text mentioned auction
strange to me

jwws9999 01-28-2017 10:23 AM

not to mention if it's even a real ad. checked out that site, and it looks like it's just to advertise other stuff. alot of that going on these days, ie, what I call phantom boat ads. it's not like when I bought my last boat 10 years ago

It was most likely om fleabay at one time thats why it says auction....

3 likely scenarios here

1. its a scam

2. its the deal of the year

3. its a wellcraft and the transom stringers and bulkheads are soggy mulch.

Go look at it. The only way your going to tell is inspecting it. At that price its not worth the survey, If they want a deposit or somehow or another want money before you look at it, its a scam.

a 15 second google search on the HIN found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-WELLCRA...-/222312389682

He has positive feedback on ebay from selling boats and parts, it was relisted at least once...

So its most likely real and the fact it hasnt sold, its most likely wet. go look at it, Tampa is nicer than most of the us this time of year.

I sold my 1992 SCARAB34 this spring for more than that without drives or any engines. It needed a new transom and cabin floor.
That boat has a 8 1/2 ft beam not 10 1/2 ft.
The boat is comfortable for weekending and handles rough water well.
That boat probably needs WORK.
The vinyl looks to be in decent shape.

However, I do not need to inspect the ship, it is known that it is in bad condition and needs restoration
My problem is the width of the container for transport in the EU
