Mercury Racing unveiled a new propeller for the company’s two most powerful current Verado offerings—the 400R, 400R Carbon Edition and the ROS (Race Offshore) models.

why such a low rake??? I like bow lift while keeping the trim neutral.

I think they have the low rake because all the center consoles don't need help with bow lift with 3-6 verados on the back of the boat.

I find it funny how for years the bravo 1 prop was only offered in two inch increments. Now these props they keep coming out with for the beloved verados have .5" increments!

My guess is these props are geared more towards the 30-36' cats not really marketed to the CC

the article says the 400R Merc Racing CNC props goes upto 34" pitch. What if we need higher pitches like 36"?

Hard to believe with a normal loaded 30+' outboard cat. Acceleration already not good and most speeds to date with very light load on the limiters.

Maybe with some more HP via a higher rev limiter of 7400rpm. Who knows LOL

The acceleration in a DW 32/400R boat is amazing with all the amenities on board. Consistent low 120's with 2 guys and 60+ gallons too. No one believes it until they ride in one but it's the truth. Stock motors!!
