We went Thursday and left from north Miami beach and drove to the American Airlines arena and took the water taxi easy in and out we took the last boat back nice ride. But I didn't like the beach next year I'll be staying in Brickell.

We parked at AA arena Friday morning and took the water taxi, there was a boat waiting there for us, no wait time at all. We stood in line for 20 min going back but that was only because we wanted to go back via bayside so the wife and kids could shop. Much better this year.

It was my first time also. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Right across the street from Bay side, parked the rental car in the lot and never touched it for three days. Waited maybe 15 minuets for a water taxi one time and that was it, went very well with no complaints. I would recommend staying close like that to anyone, very convenient with no hassle!

Miss the convention center.
Couple suggestions; add beer and cocktails on docks - allow Budweiser products in show (ridiculous to exclude them) - add bathrooms on docks, figure out a way to better cool the tents.
Just my 2 cents

We noticed only one of the tents was warm on Friday, It was pretty obvious the rest seemed fine... I wonder if they were having temporary cooling issues...

I was parked in one of the lots next to the marine stadium in an rv- 2 min bus ride.
Highly recommended.
I overheard one of the problems last year was not enough buses, they seemed to have rectified that situation.
Also, there were people everywhere with clipboards... watching and counting the flow.
They got it figured out- everything I saw was moving like clockwork.
45/day for cars and 75 for oversized vehicles...
nobody screws up that kind of cash flow.

Not having water taxi service to South Beach this year sucked. All the tents seemed warm on Sunday.

Parked at the AA Arena bus ride was thru a lot of traffic Water Taxi back was much better, Yeah the tents are way to hot to enjoy walking around in not to mention the floors where not level at all. But nice show and lots of money sitting in the water
