Don't know even with 1800 hp that it could reach even 70 mph. Might have missed it, but didn't see how fast it said it would go, with standard power it reaches 54, and I would guess maybe 65 max. Pushing 15000 is a bunch. Maybe after putting all the money in it and didn't get anything spectacular, so on to the next fun thing

Formula built a 370 SS with ILLMOR 700's and the Indy drives if IIRC it ran 74 there was a vid of it somewhere

Cool, that would be a heck of a setup and wouldn't need to refresh the motor so often

You're adding just shy of 1000 horsepower over the 496 HOs. You're doubling the horsepower and then some. If a 525 370 will do 60, then this should do well over 70, probably the 80 mentioned above.

now that would be my perfect boat! Fast, reliable and tons of room for partying and overnighting. Thumbs up to that one!

The concept is awesome. I love sleepers. We built a set of 900s for a customer with a 343 Cobalt (smaller boat, similar idea). Runs mid 90s and he LOVES picking on people with it.
