Some tires are brutal to seat...typically a tire that is much narrower than the rim. Many smaller trailers are this way.
I use this (the one pictured is not the one I have) instead of ether or hairspray, note, some can still be real rough even with two guys.
If a shop doesn't have one, they need to !
Generic term is "Bead Blaster." When you turn the valve, all the compressed air comes out instantly.

Wrap the diameter of the tire with a rope, find a good stick or tool you can wrap the rope around to twist the rope and be able to take up slack on the rope while applying pressure to the diameter of the tire.

Walmart is trying to be the new AMAZON now , they sell everything.
Nice thing is you can pick up at a local store with no shipping charges.
They now have a dedicated area for pickup orders. it`s a 50/50 crap shoot that the employees **** it thou. I`ve gotten emails that my stuff is in and it wasn`t .

That the store by Osage beach? I spent a solid 4 or 5 hrs there while the techs tried to get a trailer Tire bead seated. 3 of em out in the lot for hours spraying starter fluid and flicking matches til one of em got lucky.
Their Tire machine wouldn't put out enough psi or something ....
