perimeters would help...new Donzi 22, basic fishing CC, 24' whaler single O/B, 21 and 22' Chris Craft + other runabout/ bow rider - single engine up to 26', some mid range ski boats and fancy bass boats even trip into that price range

The fact that this question is even a valid one decries the sad state of the boating industry.

I couldn't agree more with your comment on the validity/sad state of the boating industry. With that said come on! I don't know about you guys, but I'm not a bare bones type of car buyer. Nothing out there is less than $45K. SUV's are $60-$95K for crying out loud..........pick up trucks are $40+ unless it's a work truck. Have you got kids looking to buy a house? Boats are not the only commodity that are just way too much money.

You're not kidding, I just went to buy a house putting 60% down and make way more than the payment, they put me through the ringer. I couldn't believe it.

Crazy activity ( it really isn't a sport unless you race) this boating is. In many cases people are spending more on a boat, trailer and truck then the home they and the family live occupy.
