Power is close to 900s cruises around 90 at 3800- 4000 rpm. More of a event boat, trailer it all the time. Formula is in the water and used most of the time. Belle River to Mikes bar Sindads or Brownies in minutes.

Thanks boatman, I love the formula for what it is too, but I have the speed bug and doing the poker runs with it is not as fun anymore, further it can be a true PIB burger for lunch boat haha

I would look towards a Skater for LSC as it can get sloppy. Not knocking the Spectre at all as several of my good friends have one but they do not have a big free board and personally for me if it's bumpy i like to be with something that has a decent free board. The 36 Spectre is based out of a Skater 32A but stretched 4 more feet and wider cockpit to provide 4 seats in the back (tight). I would look at the Skater 32B (36 would be better as it is the best Skater till date; Ask Ron followed by the 388). Ed Champ has a 2000 32B (5 step bottom) for sale the. It has 500 efi which will not get you to 120mph mark BUT will cruise easily 80-85 mph and you can always work it to get you to 120 mph. People now are going to say it might / needs tank. Okay ? So what at the price he's asking for it you can get the tanks done and be in a newer style Skater with a much high and safe free board. Ed Champion is a great to deal with. I have no connection with it but much better boat than others mentioned. Asking price is $89k obo.

I love those 160 mile round trip lunch runs to PIB! I do it in a 22' boat. I've run into some pretty snotty water on Lake Erie. Solid fours once and I stuffed it twice but wasn't going fast. Another time I had to idle almost the entire way to the Detroit River in honest 6-8s. That time was cold, wet and no fun. Good luck finding a cat. Might want to price out insurance first.
