Furthermore..... Why are people always trying to talk me into scrapping my TRS drives for some Bravo derivitive??? I mean if I was going to go Bravo I would probably look to Teague or Imco for something stronger than stock Bravo, For similar money I could just go Konrad. I like Bravo drives, the parents boat has a 350 mag with Bravo 1 and it is just great at that power level.

Xpower drives pricey yes but 7 years without a failure cost evens out and you can beat on them no bravo babying my 3 cents worth

Jim, Didn't you have over 700hp in front of them? That's a good track record for drive service.

TRS drives are more durable, no doubt. The Bravo was introduced for compact packaging, and less complicated, and economical, (initially) cost.

Just a bit. Oh well, a visit to the Bravo Shop or AADS is in my near future.

Were they all around as good as advertised? I'm really cosidering going the X-Power route, but have heard so little from people that have run them. Are they truly faster? Lite weight and a straight forward switch out from a Bravo set-up? And did it involve much time, testing and hassle to set up for your application? I gots to know!

What boat/ power? Im in the middle of an overhaul on our 382 Formula with 600's and tired of going through XR's (the stellings don't help matters). I am looking for a more bullet proof solution and I believe IMCO full blueprinted SCX's is my top option. Cant tell if you are being sarcastic about just calling them and ordering them, but that's what I am close to doing. I don't care what it costs, I just want the boat to be more reliable. I did email IMCO over a week ago inquiring about this and have not yet heard back.

Are you sure that we cannot help you with your project? We're faster, more reliable and probably not much more $$
