I met Jeff at Haulover ramp before a poker run. Seemed like a nice guy with a clean rig. Guy did his time and certainly didn't steal a boat out of the blue. This was a multiple party theft but it did start with Jeff.

At least he has a sense of humor about the stolen boat.......

I have been using Jeff for at least 14 years and has picked up and delivered several of my boats over the years and always done a great job including the last 3 days. Inspected and picked up a
new to me boat in Texas on Sunday and Monday and delivered it back here by 7:30PM today.

I am not a big fan of his. When I had my HTM and had issues he acted like he had some pull or ownership with them. He proved to just be blowing smoke and then attacked me when I pointed out real issues with the boat.

He was also recently representing himself as an owner/dealer in the Spectre boat company on OSO and created a new OSO screen name.
He was banned again.

Had to be a few yrs in that 14 yrs that you were using someone else, no?

Jeff was a partner with another gentleman to market Spectre in Calif, Az, and Nv. unfortunately his partner was an Alcoholic and it was dissolved. It was called SpectrePowerboatsWest.com

I just used Jeff to haul my boat from Oklahoma to Massachusetts it was the best experience I have had with a boat hauler stayed in contact the whole trip I realize he did something stupid years ago he did his time (the only one who did time) I'm a firm believer in 2nd chances

I can see a phone call going something like this.

Boat Owner: Yes, my boat was stolen and I'd like to make a claim.
Insurance Company: OK, when the was the last time you saw it.
Boat Owner: When I gave it to a convicted boat thief to transport it.
Boat Owner: Hello? Hello?

I don't know this guy, don't even know the story. But knowing what I do, (somehow involved in a missing boat), I would never hire him to tow anything, not even my garbage.
