Funny how that is right? One guy gets demonized for it all and others get treated like royalty. Just shows money will buy your way out of things and people will look the other way when it involves someone with money or someone that owns and is associated with a brand they love.
Kinda pathetic. Which boat is more OSO famous: Cardshark or Rice Hauler? |

REmember kids, its not about who does what in life, its about who the cool kids want sitting at their lunch table....

Kinda pathetic. There was a lot of money paid out among all the players...a lot of money. Jeff didnt have the money and he paid the price, but those that did have the money and those that bought their way out are still treated as if nothing happened by people on this site. Somehow it just doesnt matter that all these other people were just as guilty as Jeff, but then again, I guess Jeff was not their hero like all the others. Maybe some of you should ask Joe what his part was in the mess and while you are at it, why not as the others. Do I need to make a list for anyone of all the other players...like Jimmy and possibly someone could get the paddles and go ask Angelo. I remember what part each played and about how much they paid to stay out of jail, but this thread will be more fun if you do your homework and go find out for yourself. And while each of you are at it...see what you can find out on how all this Card Shark crap started...the person Jeff originally met with to get the ball rolling and then who this person went to meet with to get the boat lined up with no locks of any kind or anything around it to get in the way...then check to see who it was that ran to the DA as fast as he could to protect his butt when he was one of the original ring leaders. All of these people are guilty...just like all of the players in New York, but no one cares because these people are good ole boys. All you can do is whine and make your uncool dumb remarks about Jeff and completely ignore the FACT the others in that mess were just as guilty. That sure speaks volumes about your morals and character. According to my sources...one of the New York Detectives...the total amount collected from all the other players was slightly over $5,000,000 dollars. Now class...I pretty much know who payed what, but your assignment is to find out WHO paid what. You can also think about this...if they were not guiulty...why did they pay? |

In hindsight I can't believe this "caper" was even attempted. 8-10 people involved, boat was way way too recognizable, hauled across 10 states then stripped/shredded? What was the upside of this theft? Used parts? Lets go crazy and assume this was 60K in parts, divided by 4 parties......15K each? 5 people = 12k each? 6 people = 10K each? These guys were "players" for these small sums? The lawyers got 20K each in retainers! Nobody mentions the owner of CS? He had the boat for sale, had already built another new CS Nortech.........Did someone really want or need 2 CS's? |
