Harkness memorial park in Waterford Indy if you've ever heard of it.

Great area although I'm not familiar with Harkness specifically. My boating was done out of Norwalk and would run up the Sound through the gut then bomb around the east end in general. Overall, LIS is the balls.

Weddings in general regardless if they over ride boating or not are awful.

I just hate wasting my time/money on weddings that you know are going to fail.......I was the best man at one when my buddy admitted he had a girlfriend on the side (hotter than wife to be)......awkward part: this conversation was happening while on the altar watching the wife (to be) walk down the isle! I told him to bail, enjoy the party. He went through with it, still working on the divorce now. I felt like a priest up there hearing a confession!

The letter is pretty funny.... But it's tough if you have kids that are involved sports, and other activities, (High school orchestra) which I ALWAYS go and support my kids...BUT the many boating benefits to living in FL is we get to boat year round in some of the best boating waterways in the world, (IMHO).....

Yea, kids are 16 and 18 now so not too much to going on with them in the summer. And by the way, it's 54 today with a low in the mid 40's......... Us midwesterners only have a good 5 months!

My own kids birthday is 5/29 and we have never had a bday party memorial weekend. It pisses me off when people do that so no way i could do it.
