Tips on header to tail leak
#11
Well the header has been under pressure for the last hour or so. I don't see any leak around the rear flange and have looked down in the header with a mirror and don't see any water leaking. 30 psi gauge is pegged back around at the zero mark stopper so pressure is likely over 40 psi. We will see if it falls over night.
Side note - got a PM from one of the guys at CMI offering to walk me through where to look. Thought that was nice - will call him tomorrow.
EDIT - tails were brand new last year and only have about 5 hours on them. The sure as hell better not be the source of this issue.....

Header is on the way back to CMI. They also have the Tbolts.
Offline Chris at CMI sent me his phone number and was on the phone with me at 7:30 this morning - thought it was really a nice gesture and once we exchange a few pics decided it was likely leaking so I was able to get it to UPS first thing this morning.
Hopefully it can go back on easily with both motors in - naturally it's an inside header.....
