I lived in Navarre back in 93-94, and Crab Island is one of the coolest places I have ever been boating! We have friends that live on Cinco Bayou, the waterways are just beautiful!
It just gets a little cold in the winter time though!

compared to Wisconsin, I don't think the dead of winter is even cool. Hell we're suppose to only have highs in the 40's the rest of this week......

Fred~ You are exactly right!! And the people down there are soooooo nice!! Everywhere we went it was like people had known us, like we grew up together!! Store employee's, waiter's, waitresses, you name it...it was soooooo refreshing to meet nice people (especially, after dealing with so many airport employee's lately)!!!
And anyone who plans on visiting Destin.....GO TO "OLD BAY STEAMER'S"......OMG talk about AWESOME!!!!!
