Last boat I left the plug in a cup holder right near my ignition switches along with the ring spanner to fit the plug. Every time I launched the boat, I'd see it sitting there so I couldn't forget!

I drop them in an old camera film container....and then put that in the glove box.

I don't recall where I got it but I have a small plastic hub with 1/2 npt threads screwed to the bunk. Keeps it back, I have a system where I take transom satraps off and install plug. Have a 1.5" stainless spring pin thru the square head of the plug to add little leverage to install plug in the boat.

I keep an extra one on my dock for my friends that come by screaming they forgot to put their plug in. It is always worth a chuckle.

I keep mine in the prop box- boat's kept on a trailer @ the marina. I pull the prop after each use (keeps some other AH from doing it for me.) Also, I've got CRS so bad, I can't even remember what the letters stand for!

That's where I keep mine also, 30 miles to the ramp for the last 14 years and never lost one.

I keep my boat in dri-stack and they just tie a small cotton drawstring bag on the transom and put it in the bag when they pull it out. Port side hanging by trim tab
