I think I saw you have intentions of coming up to Cumberland?

Cash Bar 08-03-2017 07:11 PM

It is penciled in the schedule.

I would love to see this machine.

I apologize in advance for my ignorance but don't the engines come with the harness? If not would they normally be ordered at the same time or are yours custom?

Am I out of questions or can I buy another? :D

You never run out of questions. That cost me a bet with Terry Sobo. LOL

You can get them with the motors but they come in different lengths. I didn't "order" my motors so it wasn't a preset length to add from Mercury. Just like you can order the motors without headers or trannies or plugin/driveline the variations are wide.

Got ya, thanks for the education, I hadn't thought of those variables.

Hope it all comes together for you but disappointing as it may be to miss an event you are much better finishing the repower 100% rather thrashing and overlooking something. Both scenarios will be disappointing but one doesn't include the roadtrip and expense of towing 1/2 way across the country.

Good! We'll be at LOTO, as well as Cumberland - would love to see the boat!

Have you sent a copy of your "how to build a boat manual" to Jason? :boat:
And did Terry take his copy with him from Nor-Tech? :drink:

I think it's safe to assume that Jason and the BrandX crew won't be learning anything from me or was originally tagged as "How to build a boat Bible" by Mr. Sobo. Jason and his crew are buttoned up!!

In fairness to Terry and the folks at Nor-Tech, they have ALLOT going on managing multiple new builds, rebuilds not to mention among many different models. My goal was to help Nor-Tech help me to get the boat I wanted.
The picture book w/ many notes gave them a reference guide to go to any day at anytime w/o having to make their own notes or reach out to me.
What I will tell you is it became a very useful tool and I'm extremely happy w/ my boat.

Not sure where the Bible is today, most likely in the history of Nor-Tech museum. :party-smiley-004:

BTW, your former ride, nice as it may be, is listed for $349K. I know the used boat market for nice performance boats is strong but I had no idea it was that strong. :)
