Skater repower project has begun

You never run out of questions. That cost me a bet with Terry Sobo. LOL
You can get them with the motors but they come in different lengths. I didn't "order" my motors so it wasn't a preset length to add from Mercury. Just like you can order the motors without headers or trannies or plugin/driveline the variations are wide.

My understanding is Roy is a busy guy and entrusting in others guidance. I know he had ILMOR do complete ebuilds of both engines and drives but at best that might help it break thru the $250k mark.
Must have an extra $100k in it to absorb a trade

Love the FB post w/ the use of the boat name (NASCAT) as if it were a Skater model and my name + Hendrick Motorsports. I think it goes w/o saying and most would agree that mention of those is really no different than saying it used to be Michael Jacksons or Elvis', No Seriously!

How'd you guys lure me into your thread hijacking anyway?
Back to Skater Repower commentary only, Please!

Both motors are in and the drivelines completed, New fittings coming for the big strainers and ball valves. The bilge looks so uncluttered now.
The delay on the harnesses has the work moved to the dash and interior now. You can see it just a bit in the pic I snapped of the starboard motor today.
