how much of a window do you have connection with engine weight before they need to be moved.

The boat has shafts so we can move if necessary but we wanted the CG to come a bit forward anyway. It was way back in the boat with the big motors and we are dropping 300-400lbs minimum from the bilge now.

700's should be the sweet spot in that boat for sure!

The boat has seen 172 with the big power but we never ran it hard like that. We ran cruise at about 100-110 and expect to stay that range but the new top end will be in the 135-140ish range. Fuel burn was laughable and needed 93 octane. Both things will change significantly.
