Have to agree.
Just do you and your run the best you can. No one should be held to some standard they have to help more than they have cause it's a free charity run. Just focus on what you got going and put on a great event.

Not only agree with what has been said above, but if you did that, I would even bet you would loose some of the current people participating in your run as I am certain some will be put off by it. There is absolutely no upside to doing that. Only downside...........

The other promoters may have other things on their minds-schedules. They have given you free exposure at their events. It would look bad. Use Donald Trump's head. He is the personification of poor taste.
