I can't take credit for that one. We didn't leave with the masses - pulled in to a watering hole (I think Fish Co??) and waited it out. ...which appears to have been a great idea made by our hosts.

At any rate, this was probably the best time I've ever had on the water - the Shootout will definitely be on our list.

It gets really rough in spots... 55mph will keep you ahead of most boats there until the big dogs get loose. Lol

that gotcha now skater flew by me last year on the ride to the 11mm an seemed like it wasnt even trying. Maybe 85mph ? Nothing that weekend came by that smooth and fast.

In my opinion, 50% of the boats rolling down here are 40+ ft. Cruisers... That doesn't help.
