Was told that as well too buy the guys working on it at Camden, last year with them too. New twin turbo motors are going in for next year.
He said they were just there to have some fun this year and the owner didn't care if it won, lost, or even blew up. Super cool group of guys with that boat.

The turbo motors are the same ones in PREDATOR 1 that Vern Gilbert ran at 182 ,but will be turned up in the mystic.
Carson Brummitt built both motors and they are animals.

The owners name is Doug Stevens.He bought PREDATOR 2 from me last may and bought the Bacardi Silver mystic from Dave Scott in march.
