No....Joker boat was based on the 38 Powerplay plug. Powerplays came out as 2003-2004 models.

Krytonite made just one 40'ish boat that Bill Prunell in Ocean City MD purchased. It was from a mold that was modified. I believe he still owns it.

I visited Kirk way back when and he had a 27 in the mold and rigging a 29. The only difference between the two is the swim platform. Its the same 27' running surface. He built a handful of 27 CC's rigged for sport fishing. Great to see the molds did not get trashed. He had a 41 in storage when I visited. That mold was not an original Kryptonite. Boat had multi steps like a Hustler.

Did Superboat and/or Kryptonite win more races than Activator? "cream of the crop"?

Good question. If you are referring to Factory One racing days. IMO the Kryptonite and Activator had some great battles and not sure which one won more when they were both represented at a race. The Super Boat was a larger 30 foot boat and per the rules they had to weigh more. IMO they could never over come the extra weight that Kryptonite and Activator didn't have to carry.

I would think SUPERBOAT by far has one more races(not necessarily just factory one) historically.... it's been around longer & is still winning races to this day....
