Screaming Eagle New 36 with twin 400's

2 Attachment(s)
These are from the original Jay Pilini Spectre molds. The Spectre 30 and 36 molds were purchased by SEB this year. We do not use the Spectre name and are not affiliated with Spectre. Chris Dilling with Grafik EFX will be in charge of the paint scheme going on the first SEB 36. The paint scheme is still in the works, but this SEB 36 will be the first out of these molds to have the twin 400R's, a new flatter deck and full wrap around windshield. The build will start this December. We will post more as we get closer to starting.

I'll be very curious how that will end up, it seems like an awfully big boat for outboards but if it's cut down and weight is cut where you can the 368 Skater is proof it can be done very successfully. Only input I'd offer is keep the back as low as you can, not having to have clearance for inboards should let you lower it and that will go a long way towards improving the lines of the boat and make it easier to get on or off while in the water.

I believe he will build them for I/O power as well, I had a conversation with him about building one for my power package which would be 950+ and #6 drives. I am having a kid now, probably not the best time to buy a new boat.

Yes, we will still be doing inboards also. Thanks

.

beautiful rendering!

looks like the dash will be redone as well...with the center controls console blending nicely

this one will be a very capable offshore-offshore cat...for sure!

Bimini Run anyone!

Todd is doing a great job with the molds, can't wait to see the finished product.

I have not talked to the guy who owns that boat yet, but I have heard from others it ran in the 90's to. Not bad for an ex-heavy inboard hull with the 300's on it. I think a lighter-outboard lay up with twin 300's should run a 100 plus and one with 400's should run 110 plus. That is my goal to see them run at least these speeds.
